What is your ultimate goal in life? My mother in law always tells me "You and Zack are living such an 'intentional' life", and it is the utmost of compliments. If I can continue to examine my life and my choices, to explore opportunities and keep an open heart - I know there is always something to be learned and ways to adapt and progress, as a human being...a friend, a wife and hopefully someday, as a mother.

What is one thing you love about your husband? The one thing I love most about Zack, is that he believes in me. He took a leap of faith in committing the rest of his to me, and I believe with every ounce of my being, that he meant it.

hes been doing it since he was 13 or so, and is one of the strongest climbers I've ever seen. he is the one who got me turned on to it when we met.

What is something you struggle with? Anxiety. Driving in the rain on the interstate. Driving on the interstate at all. Keeping a negative opinion to myself when it comes at the expense of someone else's feelings that I care about. The compulsion to buy 'things'. My father died a few years ago at the age of 56 from cancer and I haven't made peace with it. Giving compliments and showing affection. Chick-fil-a, Target and Anthropologie.

Who is your pick for '08: I don't care as long as it isn't a Bush.

What is your worst nightmare? I sometimes imagine in my sleep, that Zack is an alien and he's trying to 'get me'. I have actually turned on the lights and made him have a coherent conversation with me to prove he was not an alien.

Who is your hero? It's a toss up between Mike Rowe and Jack Johnson. I have made the request of Zack to have Jack come play at my funeral. How could he turn down a request like that?

Food indulgence? Anything 'white'. Heavy cream, half-and-half, cottage cheese, mayonnaise, ranch. Deviled eggs, chicken salad, apple pie ala mode, and all pastries made in France. I love my mother in-laws ribs and my husbands Cubed Steak/gravy and mashed potatoes, also the first meal he ever cooked for me.

Favorite place to travel? Nye, Montana. We are hoping to move from the east coast out west. Soon. Also, we spent 6 months traveling after we married. Our hands down favorite place was the French country. Fontainebleau, Nemours, Poligny. Beautiful country...lovely people, insanely divine food.

What makes you laugh? Well, I think I'm pretty damn funny. People who don't take themselves too seriously delight me. I am surrounded by those types, and they make me feel grounded.

What do you think is the worlds biggest problem? Capitalism. Consumption. Convenience. Ethno/Ego-centrism. For the majority, as long as our grass is green and our water is free and clean, we aren't much concerned about our neighbors.
