The box

With every new baby my sweet mother( aka UMI) has all of her newborn grandchildren a special box made.

The special box is handmade by my hip cousin and his wife (jeff and nanette)
On the top of each box is a diffrent, beautiful handwritten poem.

What is inside the box is my favorite. My mother hand picks special little outfits, blankets, hangers and nick-nacks to pamper the baby with.

Origins baby creams, Nordstrom baby wipes, and my favorite is when she adds an old baby shirt or outfit that she saved from when I was a baby.

Oh there is so much fun that comes from "the box" as all my sisters would say.
I'll have 11 more babies just for the boxes.
